two ballband dishcloths done for Beth and Harris.
scissors, less than 4 inches long
knitting needles, crochet hooks, tapestry needles
hiking boots
climbing shoes
Other ideas for ball band dishcloths (not all mine):
face cloths
pot holders (sew two together, fold one in half)
wrapping for another gift, book, cd, dvd?

Sorry no one got back to you on the bleeding problem, I think Wendee is the only one that has knit in the navy so far, and I don't think anyone has done the deep red, so thanks for the tip, as I picked up a ball of that color a few days ago.
Have fun on your trip, oh and thanks for the tip on the washcloth contest. I will post it to our blog. What a fun idea!
